He was predeceased by: his brothers, Lawrence and Michael. He is survived by: his stepson David Richard (Joelle) of Alexandria, VA; his wife Phyllis Ann Parr; his children, Susie (Dale) of DeLand, Rusty (Michelle) of DeLand and Greg (Jennifer) of Charlotte, NC; and his brother Randy (Marlena) of Tallahassee. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
