He is survived by: his wife Barbara Griffith Asbury; his daughters, Dana M. Warner and Amanda K. Wainwright; his grandchildren, Michael, Shelah, Alice, Fallon and Kylee; his great grandchildren, Landon, Shelby, Charlotte and William; and his sisters, Frances Pruitt and Judy C. Allen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home (7820 38th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Anderson McQueen Funeral Homes - Tyrone Family Tribute Center (7820 38th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
