He is survived by: his wife Natividad "Naty" Friend; and his children, Rose Gentile (Friend), Joseph Friend, Jennifer Griffiths (Friend) and Julius Friend. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Taylor Family Funeral Home (5300 Park Blvd N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Woodland Cemetery.
