Frances Kimbrell Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Kimbrell of Pinetta, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon "Clarence" Buchanan and Valley "Vaniah" Gaston Buchanan; her husband Carl Kimbrell; and her siblings, Letha Buchanan Hicks, Gerald Pierce Buchanan and Clinton Buchanan.

She is survived by: her children, Greg Kimbrell of Cross City, FL and Kay Kimbrell-Scott of Pinetta; her sister Clare Van Williams of Clyattville, GA; her grandchildren, William Henry Hughes (Amanda), Brittanie Kimbrell Farrell (Ryan) of Broken Arrow, OK and Brooke Kimbrell Lowdermilk (Jonathan) of Asheville, NC; and her great grandchildren, Avery Layla and Kinslee Grace. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Big Bend Hospice.
