He was predeceased by: his parents, John Early Calhoun and Daisy Hare; his wives, Fern Calhoun and Juanita Calhoun; and his sons, Glen Calhoun and Gary Calhoun.

He is survived by: his brothers, Junior, Robert, Vernon, Chester and Buddy Calhoun; his daughter Linda Gail Calhoun (Mike Varno); and his brothers, Ernest and Marshal Calhoun.
