It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ates of Plant City, Florida, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Julie DeLynn Messick; her parents, Harry Crosby and Nellie Crosby; her brother Harry Crosby; her nephew Tony Crosby; and her great grandchild Charlotte May Koerber.
She is survived by: her husband James Ates; her daughter Judy Messick Faircloth (Barry); her granddaughter Cassady Faircloth Koerber (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Quinn and Wes; and her sibling's children, Terri Crosby Barlotta (Nick), Jimmie Crosby (Cindy) and Michael Crosby (Sue).
