She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Howard and Christine Brown; her granddaughter Makenli Martin; and her husband Dewey Martin. She is survived by: her children, Evelyn Maiden (Tim), Johnny Martin (Nita), Virginia Williams, Jean Bassinger (Peanut) and Frank Martin (Jessica). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
