He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wesley Rounds and Billie Ruth Craft; and his former wife Shari Rounds. He is survived by: his wife Daphne Rounds; his children, Simon Rounds, Joy Merrin, Joe Merrin (Diana) and Jason Merrin Jr.; his sister Terry Browning (Marshall); and his pet Jethro. He is also survived by His three grandchildren.

A former Master Mason with the Olive S. Wright Masonic Lodge, Wesley's contributions to his fraternity were marked by the same warmth and generosity that he extended to all aspects of his life.
