He was predeceased by: his grandfather Glenn Errol Riner; his parents, Melvin Riner and Evlyn Riner; his wife Edith; and his grandson Stephen Beadles.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Beadles (Bo), Paul Riner and Mary Riner; his grandchildren, Lance Alvarado (Crystal), Jess Miller (Byron), Sarah Surls (Jon) and Melanie Carpentier (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Nia Hasley, Madison Surls, Andrew Surls, Noah Surls and Lennon Carpentier.
