He was predeceased by: his sister Louise Ardini; and his wives, Mary Ann Heinlein and Ida Moriconi-Heinlein. He is survived by: his siblings, Rose Daley and George Heinlein; and his sons, Herman, Edward, John, Joseph, Thomas and Robert. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
