He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Kandel and Pearl Kandel (Rubins). He is survived by: his wife Paulette Kandel (Penchuck); his daughters, Elyse Tyrell (Junior) and Rebecca Kandel; his granddaughters, Taylor, Haley Tyrell, Naomi and Leah Scott; and his brother Avi Kandel (Ellen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
