Martin Laskin wrote a sympathy message

“So sorry to learn that Steve passed over a year ago. We were friends in Astoria back in the 60s. Last time I saw Steve was in Israel in 1973 right after the Yom Kippur War. I was living there at the time and Steve came on a visit with his wife Miriam and their new born son. We saw them at his mother in laws house on Hayarkon street. Steve was a good man and a good friend. May his family be consoled by God. I have thought of him often. Martin Laskin Hamden Connecticut”
