He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra; his children, Ira Safaty (Ann Marie), Richard Safaty and David Safaty (Nancy); his granddaughters, Amy Lynne Valentine (Robert), Julie Anna O'Connor (Shawn) and Danielle Safaty (Kayla Kelly); and his great grandchild Faith O'Connor.
