She was predeceased by: her parents, Efstathios Alatis and Bessie Alatis (Galanos); her husband Louis J. Vlahos; her siblings, John Alatis (Marfolia), James Alatis (Penelope), Charles Alatis (Mary Anne), Ann Loucas (Michael) and Manuel Alatis; and her brothers-in-law, Harry Vlahos, George Vlahos and George Dandalides.
She is survived by: her daughters, Faye Carrig (Edward), Vicki Zotis (late Efstathios) and Jamie Makris; her grandchildren, Andrew Carrig, Ioannis Zotis, Athanasia Zotis and Alexander Makris; her great grandchild Elliana; and her sister Des Dandalides. She is also survived by twenty nieces and nephews; and several godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Presentation of Christ Greek Orthodox Church, Nativity of the Theotokos Monastery in Saxonburg, PA, or Holy Archangels Monastery in Kendalia, TX.
