With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Ira Cohen of Pompano Beach, Florida, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Cohen and Sylvia Cohen (Lituchy). He is survived by : his wife Donna M. Giuffre-Cohen; his sister Rosalyn Portnoy (Irwin) of Newburgh, NY; his father-in-law Joseph Giuffre, Sr. of Methuen; his brother-in-law Joseph Giuffre, Jr. (Heather) of Haverhill; and his mother-in-law Dorothea Giuffre. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
