“John, Andrew, Matthew, Susan and Annette I have been Blessed to have reconnected with Johnnie since he and John have moved to Florida. We grew up together on Calvary Street in Waltham MA. He lived with us during his entire Senior year of HS, when his family moved to Watertown MA. He and my brother Bruce were best friends. John and I were both in Bruce's wedding in 1966. I will miss you Johnnie!! RIP, until we meet again!”

Ralph Mischley wrote a sympathy message

“Andrew, Matthew, Susan, and Annette, I am so sore for your loss. I still can’t believe that Johnnie is gone. He was the nicest, sweetest, guile man that I have ever known. He always greeted everyone with a smile and willingness to do anything for you. I used to play Canasta, 5-Crown, and Whist with him. We had so many good times talking about our kids and families. He will be sorely missed. He was one of my best Florida friends.”
