He was predeceased by: his wife Lochnie "Lela" Mangar Busjit (Lochnie); his daughter Rona Beharry; his parents, Sonnie Busgeeth and Gangadiah Busgeeth; and his siblings, Charlotte Kerrodar, David Busgeeth and Chatterpaul Busgeeth.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ena Bell, Ina Wiehl, Nandranie Busjit Bhalai (Garnet) and Amanda Bailey (Stacy); his grandchildren, Allison Ann Bell, Jeana Wiehl Bond (West), Andrew Beharry, Ashley Rodgers (Henry), Lauren Bhalai, Christopher Bhalai, Madison Bailey, Bradley Bhalai, Ian Bhalai and Abigail Bailey; his great grandchildren, Michael Picozzi and Stella Marie Henry; and his siblings, Lulan Busgeeth, Khemraj Busgeeth, Roopnarine Busgeeth and Deomattie Busgeeth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
