He is survived by: his significant other Peter Cowan; his nieces and nephews, Brian Meritt (Caren), Bonnie Garonzik (Robert), Joy Sibel (Steven), Alan Jacobs and Carl Jacobs (Janet); and his niece-in-law Adele Meritt.
