With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Cheryl Ann Rushing Bailey of Ponce de Leon, Florida, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Cheryl Ann left this world on December 10, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Joe Rushing and Eunice Irene Rushing; her husband Richard Bailey; and her sister Polly McGarigle. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Webster (Larry) and Rodney Bailey (Heather); her grandchildren, Candace Schipper (Levi), Kaitlyn Owen (Joshua) and Kloe Murer (Mark); her great grandchildren, Sutton and Zaeli; her siblings, Juanita Lane (Terry), Jimmie Lou Griggs (Carlos), Evelyn Rushing Peeples (Carl), Roy Rushing and Joe Rushing (Barbara); and her siblings-in-law, Bill McGarigle, Mary Sowell (Lavon), Talmadge Wood and Pinkie Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clary-Glenn Funeral Home (230 Park Ave, Defuniak Springs, FL 32435). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
