She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd E. Gay and Ida Mae McKinney; her husband Jeff Aufenthie; and her siblings, Floyd E. Gay Jr., John Wayne Gay, Tommy Gay, Lois Lamb, Mary Molinaro, Linda Barfield, Marie Pettis, Joann Hare and Ramona Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Bush Jr. of Bruce, FL, Dennis Joe Bush of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Rex Bush of Black Creek, FL, Michaelle Williamson of Bruce, FL and Susanne Bush of Greenhead, FL; and her siblings, George Gay of Bruce, FL, Steve Gay of Bruce, FL, Helen Nowlin of Westville, FL, Betty Pruett and Barbara. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Obert Funeral Home Chapel (731 Kirkland Rd, Chipley, FL 32428). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
