He was predeceased by: his brothers, Carey W. Young and Quinon L. Young; his stepfather Henry Knotts; and his wife Sharon Ann Young (Wiggins). He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Doss (Greg) of Tallahassee, Rachel Doss, Sarah Doss, Hannah Doss, Calvin Brock and Pamela Homyak (Jim) of Pensacola.
The family welcomes donations to either the humane society or local veteran's groups.
