He is survived by: his siblings, Geraldine Thomas Russell, James Robert Thomas, Lawrence Curtis Thomas and Joseph Orville Thomas; his wife Patricia Pope Thomas (Patty); his children, Cheryl Marie Thomas Wood (Wallace Scott Wood) and Richard Patterson Thomas (Lauri Schwinger Thomas); and his grandchildren, Matthew Wallace Wood (Kim Wood), Reid Patterson Wood, Chad Austin Thomas and Courtney Regan Thomas.
