Alice leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Alice’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Alice will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Relerford Bates and Louise Bates (Gandy); and her son Glynn "Buddy" Addison, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Glynn A. Addison, Sr. of Port Charlotte; and her children, Glenda McHargue of Port Charlotte, Michelle McLaren, Karen Addison of Port Charlotte, Charlotte Addison of Madison, VA and John Addison of Port Charlotte. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Charlotte Harbor (4506 Church St, Port Charlotte, FL 33980). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (4506 Church St., Port Charlotte, FL 33980).
