He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Ray and Hazel Burchett Gearing; his wife Mary E. Beasley; his son-in-law Robert Krimmer; and his children, Pamela Krimmer of Bloomington, Deborah Tietz of Crystal Lake, Jeffrey Gearing (Wendi) of Hermitage, TN and Scott Gearing (Julie) of Sterling. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
