She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Richardson and Aileen Richardson; and her son James D.. She is survived by: her husband James L. Dougherty (Class Petty Officer) of Webster Groves; her children, Kimberly Dougherty of Middletown, RI and Steve J. Dougherty; her siblings, Donald Richardson of Colorado Springs, CO and Debra A. Camara of Port Orange, FL; her grandchildren, Alycia Dougherty of Port Orange, FL, Courtney Clarke Coscarella of Tiverton, RI and Casey Dougherty of Irvine, KY; and her great grandchildren, Elise and Nicolas Coscarella of Tiverton, RI. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home (620 Dunlawton Ave, Port Orange, FL 32127).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the "Tunnels to Towers Foundation".
