Hugo R. DeSimone Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Hugo R. DeSimone of Port Orange, Florida. Hugo, born on June 25, 1929, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Renier DeSimone and Amelia DeSimone (Nanni); and his siblings, David, Emilio DeSimone, Alice, Mary and Vera.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine DeSimone (Polanski); his sister Josephine; his son Derek DeSimone; his daughter-in-law Kimmy; his granddaughter Maura; and his stepgrandchildren, Kimberly and Dillyn. He is also survived by step-great-grandsons, and other extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Chapel (1423 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32114). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
