He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence L. Dye and Bernice W. Dye; his son Dennis; and his wife Caroline. He is survived by: his daughter Debby Slaight (Charlie); his grandchildren, David, Nichol Dye, Ali, Tom Slaight and Bee Slaight Franklin (Spencer); and his cousin Nancy Trinowski.
