He was predeceased by: his girlfriend Elizabeth "Betty" Carter; his brothers, Ted Manko and Bruno Manko; and his mother Josephine Manko. He is survived by: his children, Julie Brayton (Hugh), Leon Manko (Shirley), Rachael McKenzie (Michael) and Lara Avicola (Michael); and his sister Elizabeth Wilcox. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Michael's memory.
