He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Thompson and Gladys Thompson; his wife Linda Thompson; his daughter Jolyn Thompson; and his siblings, Jimmy, Janet, Eddie and Patrick.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Heath (Steve Lilly), Kimberly Heath (Wayne Lewis) and Tommy Thompson (Sherry); his siblings, Haskell, Sue, Curtis, Dewie, Debra, Tommy and Sissy; and his grandchildren, Travis Walker, Shane Walker, Audra Blanche (Jared), Rebecca Austin (Brett), Stephanie Thompson, Phillip Thompson (Kaley) and Eirene Giraldo (David). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
