He is survived by: his sisters, Alfreda DeLeonardis (Eugene), JoAnn Garofolo and Donna Nipar (Robert); his nieces and nephews, Jeffrey DeLeonardis (Carol), Gregory DeLeonardis (Paula), Nicole Prioletti (Michael), Melissa Booritch, Kevin Nipar (Kyra), Heather Chappel (Scott) and Ryan Garofolo (Jessica); Susanna Garofolo.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home (119 S 15th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church (1720 James St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203). The military honors was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Adalbert Cemetery (1512 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15210).
