It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Anthony Hobrle of Port Orange, Florida, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Roger may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Roger leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Hobrle and Vienna Hobrle (Sainio); his sister Roxanne "Dolly" Schwartz; and his close friends, Roger Larson, Louis Collyard and Dave Houghton.
He is survived by: his close friend Sue Hartwig (Payton); his brothers, John W. Hobrle (Dee) of Carlisle, PA and Thomas A. Hobrle of North Pole, AK; his brother-in-law David Schwartz of Minneapolis, MN; and his aunt Patricia Jackson of Ingleside, IL. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church - Hibbing (2201 3rd Ave E, Hibbing, MN 55746). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hibbing Park - Maple Hill (3674 Maple Hill Rd, Hibbing, MN 55746).
