She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsberry Lane and Ruby Joyner Baker; her husbands, Herbert Palin Lane and Buel Edgar Carson; and her brothers, Louis and Jimmy Lane.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy L. Brown (Philip) of Port Orange, Linda S. Hall of Murphy, Michael W. Carson (Theresa) of Livingston, TX and Steven D. Carson (Lori) of Citrus Springs, FL; and her grandchildren, Cybil Azevedo (Nuno), Kelly Baker (Tracy), Sarah Hough (David), Ryan Carson (Cayli), Robert Carson (Shelby) and Buckley Carson. She is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
