Alden L. Brooks Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alden L. Brooks of Port Richey, Florida, who passed away on November 22, 2023 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alden L. Brooks to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by : his wife Debra Brooks; his children, Tricia Brooks and Steven Brooks; his grandsons, Robert and Dennis; and his siblings, Carol Brooks and Allen Brooks. Alden grew up in prospect CT on a family farm that he worked extremely hard on from day break to night fall. He loved his horse Apache and took care of many other animals.
Alden enjoyed riding his Harley Davison with his wife, hunting, winning in shooting tournaments and playing poker with friends, always telling jokes and just very uplifting person to be around. Most off a person who would walk an extra mile just to give you his shirt off his back if need be. A hard worker who didn’t stop till he was asleep. He loved his family and friends very much he cherished his grandchildren. He was a bladder cancer survivor as well.
He was the Son of Mildred (Rasmussen) Brooks and Alden Blake Brooks of Prospect, CT.
Attended Schools in Prospect CT.
Graduated from Croft High School
Worked at Farrell Company in Ansonia and other businesses.
Moved to Florida after retirement in 2015

“So sorry to hear about Allden's passing. I knew him through Cliff and spent many a deer camp with him in VT. He always had such a great sense of humor and terrific stories to tell. I remember him always smiling and laughing. He will surely be missed”
