We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2023, at the age of 85, Joan E. (Fontaine) Poirier (Port Richey, Florida), born in Chicopee, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George O. Fontaine and Alice E. Fontaine (LaRiviere); her siblings, George O. Fontaine, II, Joyce A. Gaudreau and Janet D. Fontaine; and her granddaughter Lauren N. Sansonetti.
She is survived by: her significant other Marjorie Potter; her children, Paul (Karen), Steven (Erin), Laura (Robert Frey), Alice (Eddie Tumaneng) and Girard (Dana) of Florida; and her great grandchild Gigi. She is also survived by 12 loving grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews.
