He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Barbera and Angelina Barbera. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie L. Barbera; and his children, Joseph J. Barbera and Suzanne L. Gasper (Jason). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family members and lifelong friends.
