He was predeceased by: his adoptive parents, Willis Cady Baker and Alice Mary Draper; and his half-sister Marion Baker McElroy. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Baker of Port Richey; his children, Adrienne Schmais (David) of Waterford, VT and Jeremy Baker; and his grandchildren, Timothy, David III, Abigail and Thomas.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prevatt Funeral Home & Cremation Service (7709 State Rd 52, Hudson, FL 34667). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
