Walter Popowski wrote a sympathy message

“Bernie, this is the last jump for you, but your family and friends are right behind you. You will never be forgotten. We can never forget that big laugh you had, and the wide smile you have. The camaraderie with your family, workplace and friends always had a strong bond. And the time you put that tent spike right into the water source at the camping site, well, things happen. But those used TV's were always a big hit at $25.00 or $10.00. Your helpfulness will never be forgotten, and appreciated”
