With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosalind Iris Gitlin of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, born in Brooklyn, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2026 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parent Monticello; her husband Johnny DiGangi; her brother Allen Mendels; her mother Goldie Neumann; and her grandmother Minnie Benson.
She is survived by: her children, Marc Gitlin (Stacy) of Lafayette, Colorado and Riki Gitlin Frankel of Davie, Florida; her grandchildren, Cory Frankel (Arantza) of Davie, Florida, Dr. Lexi Frankel (Alex Garlaschi) of Clemmons and Kierra Gitlin (Marshall) of Lafayette, Colorado.; and her great grandchildren, Mateo and Logan Garlachi.
