He is survived by: his former wife Joanne Fickewirth; his wife Marilyn Foster of Punta Gorda, FL; his son Andrew Ashdown (Ann) of Knoxville, TN; his stepsons, John Horak (Margie) of Glendale Heights, IL and David Horak (Kazuyo) of Grayslake, IL; his sister Anita Carter (Orwin) of Stillwater, MN; his nephew Steve (Rebecca Carter); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cassandra, Maia, Jackson, Bryn and Paige.
Memorials may be made to the Spider Lake Church, Hayward, WI, or Northwestern Central DuPage Hospital Oncology Department.
