Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bette-Jean Locke of Punta Gorda, Florida, who passed away at the age of 78, on January 22, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter F. Locke Jr. Born; her mother Audrey Smith (Anderson); her brother Benjamin Smith; and her brother-in-law Michael B. Colella. She is survived by: her father Warren E. Smith of Southington; her sisters, Candace Jankiewicz (Robert) of Old Saybrook, CT and Cindy Colella of Southington, CT; her stepsons, Peter F. Locke III (Marcia) of Sandwich, MA and John N. Locke (Andrea) of Stafford Springs, CT; and her close friend Dona Ward. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren as well as many extended family members including aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
