Carol will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Carol by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Carol is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Carol’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Becker and Barbara Becker; her husband William Pobuda; and her son Gerald Pobuda. She is survived by: her son Jim Pobuda (Joy) of Punta Gorda, Florida; her daughter-in-law Betts Pobuda of Waynesville; and her granddaughter Rachel Pobuda of Selma. She is also survived by two step-grandsons; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory (9400 Indian Spgs Cemetery, Punta Gorda, FL 33950). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carol's memory to Affinity Care of Florida.
