It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles F. Burch of Punta Gorda, Florida, born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Burch and Ella Burch; and his stepson Michael L. Smith. He is survived by : his wife Louise Harris Burch; his daughters, Susan Fogleman (Michael) and Karen Gibson (Richard JR.); his grandchildren, Sydney Fogleman of Yorktown, VA, Richard III of Yorktown, VA and Nicolette Gibson of Yorktown, VA; his stepchildren, Stephan L. Smith (Christa) and Beth Brookman (Dennis); his sister Anne McCarthy (late James) of Naples, FL; his grandchildren, Michael S. Smith (Katrina), Taylor, Carter and Ashtyn Brookman of Fluvanna County, VA; and his great grandchildren, David and Hunter Smith (Guam).
