She was predeceased by: her brother Gary Sheckells. She is survived by: her parents, Jack Sheckells and Patricia Sheckells; her children, Adrienne Baker (Andy), Lindsay Owada (Monty) and Garrett Vollmar; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Ayden, Austin, Ahmani, Tariq and Imran; her sisters, Trish Thompson (David) and Candi Solis (Mauricio); and her stepsisters, Barbie Hess and Frannie Nuckles. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Homes & Cremation Services (635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Cheryl's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, honoring her caring and giving spirit.
