He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwin R. Van Gilder and Betty Blanche Nick. He is survived by: his children, Don VanGilder (Cynthia), David VanGilder (Amber), Gail Spencer (Jeff) of Marysville, MI, Mary Spencer (Jeff) of Marysville, Pauline Robinson (Jeff), Annie and Linda. He is also survived by many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
