He is survived by: his girlfriend Joanne Daubenspeck; his children, Jon Cassens (Ashley Heidemann), George Cassens and Regina Takai (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Peter Cassens, Elliot Cassens, Julian Cassens and Zen Takai.
