He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Wiltjer and Tillie Wiltjer; and his former wife Marilyn. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Linda Navis (Dennis), Barbara Tazelaar (Mark), Lori Venhuizen (David) and Randy; and his siblings, Tillie Builthius, Catherine Reddin, Clarence (Jeanine), Kenneth (Patricia) and Roger (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
