He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Blydenburgh. He is survived by: his children, Jim Blydenburgh (Kelly) and Jill Halverstadt (Dan); and his granddaughters, Laura and Carrie Halverstadt.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home (635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who knew Neil take a moment to share a story, teach someone something new, cheer on the Mets, listen to a favorite old song, or simply spend time with the people they love.
