He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arthur and Garland D. Montgomery (Dunham). He is survived by: his son Zackery Montgomery of Punta Gorda, FL; his stepdaughter Kayla Mee of Kingsport, TN; his close friend Barbara Floyd of Punta Gorda, FL; his siblings, William Montgomery (Lois) of New Castle, Markeeta K. Williams of Kokomo and Joanne Dunham of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; his nephews, William Montgomery Jr. and Hugh Wayne Montgomery; and his niece Julie Brubeck. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
