He is survived by: his son Thomas Cavanaugh; his daughter-in-law Holly; his daughter Lynne Cavanaugh; his son-in-law Michael Garcia; his grandchildren, Jessica Jones, Thomas, John Thomas (JT), Caroline Cavanaugh, Ana and Ella Garcia; and his sisters, Mary Dement and Peg Kennedy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
