He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph and Elsie; his wife Grace; his son Brian Lucas; and his stepson Lee Ives.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheena Shelafoe of Beach Park, IL., Megan Schilling (Brody) of Hood River, OR. and Kim Narlock (Andy) of Antioch, IL.; his daughter-in-law Juliette Lucas of McCordsville, IN.; and his grandchildren, Cade, Kayla, Trey, Taryn, Addison, Braiden, Katie (Ryan) and Emma. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren; as well as a host of many other relatives.
